Holiday In Beach

This beach is located in the southern end of the coast of Rio Grande do Norte, and is just 90 KM from Natal and has 10 km of beaches where you can swim, take a romantic walk, contemplate nature surrounded by golden sands, natural pools of warm waters, coconut palms and spectacular cliffs. Besides, this beach is usually visited by turtles and dolphins, so you can take a look at them from the different viewpoints or even play with the animals while taking a bath in the ocean. The beach is known as Pipa because of the stones that you can find in it, that seemed to be barrels of wine or, at nights, spirits. This fact increase the mystery that evolve the beach and help to create a lot of legend related to the pirates that in the past came here to steal the most famous Brazilian wood (Pau Brazil).

A lot of activities can be done in this beach: for surfing, Pipa has excellent waves; for canoeing this beach also count with calm waters surrounded by lovely sceneries; for horse riding you can explore trails through the Atlantic forest. The beach is located 164 Kms from Fortaleza. The nearest airport is Pinto Martins in Fortaleza, capital of Ceara State. To this airport there are local flights coming daily, mainly of the following airlines: Gol, Tam and Varig. If you are coming from Europe you can check Tap Air Portugal and if you are coming from United States or Canada, you should check United Airlines for flights to Rio de Janeiro and combinations. But the best thing to do is to check the web for cheap flights to Brazil.

OTHER BEACHES NEAR PIPA
In the nearby of Pipa, you could find some other beautiful beaches. Here are some of them:

- Baia dos Golfinhos (Dolphin’s Bay), is obviously, the dolphins´ favorite bay where you can see them play, move and dance.

Praia do Amor (Love Beach), is famous for the good conditions for surfing, and also is the beach for the young and cool people that find the place ideal for romance.

Alanya was favored as a seaside resort by the Seljuk Turks 800 years ago, just as it is for the thousands of British and European visitors who pack its hundreds of hotels and villas today.

For the Seljuks, the attraction was the mild climate, the good harbor, and its relative closeness to Konya, the Seljuk capital (maps).

For today’s visitors it’s the l-o-n-g stretches of sand beach, the warm waters of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, and the deep history of the town.

Alanya has grown incredibly during the past decade, and now boasts a population of more than 250,000, which must double during the summer tourist season.

Many visitors fly into Antalya airport on inexpensive package vacations, then bus to Alanya. Lots of new hotels have been built to cater to the package trade.

While you’re here, visit the vast Seljuk fortress which dominates the town from its promontory; the tall, octagonal Seljuk Kizilkule (Red Tower); and the Tersane (shipyard).

The dank atmosphere of Damlatas Cave, said to be beneficial to asthma sufferers, but with hordes of tourists exhaling hot carbon dio into the humid, already-stuffy atmosphere, I have my doubts….

But of course Alanya’s big attraction is its beaches, l-o-n-g swaths of sand to west (several kilometers) and east (many kilometers).
