MORRO DO SAO PAULO BEACH,BRAZIL

morrobrazil

Morro de Sao Paulo (St. Paul’s Hill) is one of the most desired tropical destinations in the world, and ranks very high in the Top Brazil’s Beaches, because it still has clean sand, palm trees, crystal and warm water containing colorful fish living in deserted beaches.

Just for you to imagine, the Morro is a kind of volcano, with the beaches on the bottom, and the houses (or “pousadas”, as the local says) in the top. So you can live at the top of hill with a fantastic landscape, and go down just to go to the beach. To make things quieter, cars are prohibited in Morro do Sao Paulo. Only four wheel drives and tractors are used to access the more remote spots, and there are no streets, just alleys.

WHERE TO STAY AND HOW TO GO – HOTELS AND FLIGHTS

JERICOACOARA BEACH,BRAZIL

jeribrazil

Twenty years ago this beach was a simple fishing village with no electricity. Nowadays, the place has grown on infrastructure but keeps all the peace and tranquility that you will expect from a place like this. The main reason for this is that for accessing to this beach you will have to use a 4 wheel vehicle to pass dirty roads. And even once you arrive in Jericoacoara beach you will find that most of the streets in the village are covered by sand, so to move yourself in the beach you will have to walk or drive a buggy.

The meaning of the word Jericoacoara is Hole of Turtles, and came from the fact that lots of turtles comes to this beach to dig holes to lay their eggs. So you can expect to see a lot of turtles in Jericoacoara beach.

But what is really incredible about Jericocoara beach is the sunset. In fact, one of the most popular activities is to go to the Sunset Dune, in the west part of the beach, and watch the sun in confrontation with the dune. At night, is also impressive to watch the sky as it is one of the most astonishing view of a clean limpid sky you could ever had.

WHERE TO STAY AND HOW TO GO – HOTELS AND FLIGHTS
Lot of amazing and luxury villas can be found in Jericoacoara. Of course that you will not find big hotels, but you can trust that the villas are very comfortable and in touch with nature, and specially in Jericoacoara we think that is much better to forget about the comforts of the typical hotels, and stay in one of those “pousadas” in order to live the way brazilians do.
