Calusa beach is one of the smallest beach in Bahia Honda. You can find a sunny weather after a thunder and rainy weather in a day. Weather conditions in this place changes quickly.

There is an old rail bridge where people can have a walk over it. You can pass some other places from here easily such as Sandspur beach where you can find warm sea water.

In Calusa beach sight seeing is a good activity. The sea is clear and not wavy. You may see some big fish in the sea while you are swimming and playing water games with your family members or friends.

From October to April Makaha Beach Park is slammed with intense waves. This makes Makaha Beach Park a popular spot for surfers and the home of Buffalo’s Big Board Surf Classic. Because of the strong currents, it’s best to visit this mile long beach in the summer when the waves are smaller. At this time, divers can find an area of big fish and warm waters to explore. Lifeguards are on duty and showers and restrooms are provided.
